Women’s Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment Center and Rehab in Newport Beach

The Rose provides treatment for women rooted in a science-based, research-supported clinical model to ensure a healthier life. Our treatment experience was designed by women for women, so you or your loved one receive a tailored experience.

Dealing with Substance Abuse & Co-occurring Disorders

Living with a drug or alcohol addiction can be an immense challenge when you don’t seek professional care at an addiction treatment center or rehab. Unfortunately, many women with substance use disorders also often struggle with other mental health conditions. At The Rose in Newport Beach, our rehab and treatment center are prepared to provide life-changing treatment to women whose problems with substance abuse are accompanied by co-occurring disorders such as the following:

  • Depressive disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Trauma-related concerns
  • Borderline personality disorder
  • Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

Because substance use disorders can have such disastrous and pervasive effects on a woman’s life, sometimes she may not even realize she is struggling with a co-occurring mental health disorder that also needs treatment. As a result, we emphasize a thorough intake assessment at the beginning of treatment at our rehab center for women.

Our Commitment to You or Your Loved One

Our commitment to caring for each individual woman who enters our addiction and co-occurring disorders rehab and treatment center does not end there. Once a woman has been admitted to our rehab center in beautiful Newport Beach, California, she will meet with key members of our treatment team to create a unique, individualized treatment and rehabilitation plan for addiction and co-occurring disorders that is specially tailored to meet her needs and address her treatment goals. This focus on personalized treatment while in our rehab center at The Rose is one of the primary reasons that our treatments are so successful.

Once a woman has her treatment and rehab plan, she will have the opportunity to work with our talented team of experienced professionals at our addiction and co-occurring disorders treatment center. She will receive individual therapy sessions where she can process issues that have come up during the course of her treatment and discuss topics that she may feel uncomfortable bringing up during a group therapy session. In addition to individual therapy, each woman will have the opportunity to participate in groups while receiving treatment at our rehab center for women. Groups provide a chance for each woman to support and be supported by others as well granting her an opportunity to practice skills she has been learning in treatment.

During my addiction, I also developed some co-occurring disorders. Only The Rose was well-equipped to help me with both. I am forever grateful for them.
