The Rose for Women is the Beginning of a Life Free from Chemical Dependency
Many of the women who begin a life of sobriety at The Rose of Newport Beach continue their treatment program in our Sober Living by the Sea network of Treatment Centers which is entirely located in Orange County, CA. Women who have received primary treatment for alcoholism or drug addiction get the help, support, and privacy they need to successfully integrate back into society and live in the vibrant recovery community of Newport Beach while building toward long term sobriety.
Sober Living by the Sea's Extended Care Program is a long term rehab for women that continues the woman's individualized treatment program with a daily treatment program of educational and supportive therapeutic activities. The woman will live with other recovering individuals while continuing to have her recovery program tracked by our staff of addictions experts. The treatment program for alcoholic and drug addicted women includes attending mandatory:
- group and one-on-one therapy sessions
- 12-step recovery meetings
- addiction workshops
- recovery lectures
- family groups
Extended Care Leads to Supervised Work, College, or Outpatient Programs in California
As the woman progresses even further into her newly rewarding life free of alcoholic drinking and drug abuse, she will inevitably want to "spread her wings" and attend school or resume working. Sober Living by the Sea treatment centers also has programs that allow women to continue their supervised recovery program while working or in school. The T.E.A.C.H. Sober College Program is a groundbreaking structured college program designed specifically for women who are receiving addiction treatment to succeed at Orange County colleges while also maintaining their recovery program. Women who started out at the Rose needing "around the clock" drug rehab supervision will soon find themselves earning transferable credits from these California colleges while still receiving professional guidance and help for their recovery program. Women who are students in the T.E.A.C.H. Sober College Pogram will receive:
- transportation to and from classes
- academic transcript assistance
- career assessment testing
