Addiction and Alcoholism Treatment Resources

The Rose of Newport Beach is part of the Sober Living by the Sea network of rehab facilities which have been effectively treating chemical dependency for over 20 years.

The Rose was created to provide a private and highly structured addiction treatment program while allowing the women who are in treatment to enjoy the best possible amenities in a vibrant beachside community in Orange County. We have many resources available for the woman (or the family of the woman) to learn more about addiction and treatment.

Advice to the Families
On this page we share some of the wisdom we've gained about coping with the addiction of a loved one and the hurtful actions that come as a result of the addiction.

What to Expect
We remove some of the mystery and fear surrounding admission to our exclusive addiction treatment program for women.

Family Counseling and Therapy
We discuss our approach to treating the entire family while the woman is in treatment.

Treatment Program Information:

Women's Treatment Program Overview
On this page we outline the general philosophy and goals of the women's addiction treatment program at The Rose of Newport Beach. In another page, we cover why women's only treatment is effective for women in early recovery.

Christian Drug Rehab Program for Women
On this page, we describe our Celebrate Recovery program which uses the principles of the Christian Bible to reinforce the recovery process.

Dual Diagnosis Addiction Treatment for Women
On this page, we provide information about treating addiction and co-occurring dual diagnoses like depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders (like PTSD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and others.

Recommended Long-Term Treatment Cycle
We use this page to discuss options that women have for longer term residential treatment. Statistically, women who remain in treatment for longer periods of time have more successful long-term outcomes.

Drug and Alcohol Detoxification
We discuss the process of detoxification from drugs and alcohol at a women's only detox facility and also have a page about suboxone and vivitrol detox for women.

Drug and Alcohol Information:

Additional information is available from the website of our parent facility Sober Living by the Sea, including specific information about the different treatment programs we offer for the treatment of various chemical addictions:

Ecstasy Addiction Treatment
Many young women who enter our drug rehab program have abused this popular party drug, which has the misleading reputation of being less dangerous than cocaine or methamphetamine.

Marijuana Addiction Treatment
Marijuana also has a reputation for being harmless, but our facility has been helping people for years who started their illegal drug use with marijuana and ended up addicted to a drug like cocaine, speed, or heroin.

Methamphetamine Addiction Treatment
An extremely disturbing trend that has ballooned in the last decade is the rampant abuse of crystal meth (speed).

Inhalants Addiction Treatment
Our addiction treatment center has treated many women who've become psychologically addicted to "huffing" inhalants. This addiction is rarer than alcoholism or street drug addictions (heroin, speed, cocaine) but can be extremely damaging - even deadly. Our facility has a unique approach to reaching women with this addiction.

Hallucinogen Addiction Treatment
The specific drugs that are "en vogue" for young people to ingest for hallucinatory effects has evolved (from LSD and mushrooms to Ketamine and DMT) but they are psychologically addictive and can damage the brain chemistry of the user. We also have a page about the drug called Salvia.

Prescription Drug Addiction Treatment
We have named the phenomenon of prescription drug addiction the "silent epidemic" because it is so quietly growing and destroying lives. We have created pages about specific prescription drug addictions that we've treated including:

Vicodin Addiction Treatment
Opioids Addiction Treatment
OxyContin Addiction Treatment
Percocet Addiction Treatment
Klonopin Addiction Treatment
Ritalin Addiction Treatment
Adderall Addiction Treatment
Ativan Addiction Treatment
Ambien Addiction Treatment
