The Treatment Process
We utilize a treatment approach that values a client's complete life, including family, community, culture, value systems, spiritual traditions, and integration within the real world.
Our treatment program will help the woman understand:
-
the role that chemical dependency has played in her life
-
what underlying issues she may have and how to work through them
-
what things in her daily life trigger her to use
-
the tools that recovering people use to enjoy life and live free of addictive behaviors.
Personalized Treatment from a Woman's Perspective
How a woman has progressed in her addiction and how she will respond to treatment is influenced by many issues that vary in nature. Every woman has developed a unique outlook on life and her successful recovery may depend on us identifying and treating issues that vary in nature:
- biological issues
- psychological issues
- sociological issues
- cultural issues
The Rose treatment program halts the addictive behavior and treats the other issues such as trauma, grief, co-dependency, or a co-occurring disorder. All of these underlying issues are potentially devastating to a woman's recovery if left untreated. The Rose staff can also recognize eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia and has access to the staff at The Victorian House for Eating Disorder Treatment (which is also in the Sober Living by the Sea network of facilities).
