Both men and women share many symptoms of alcohol and drug addiction, but their pathways to abuse and addiction can be quite different. How women develop the disease and respond to treatment is influenced by many psychosocial and cultural underlying issues that are unique to women's experience. The Rose of Newport Beach has developed the best residential treatment program which treats addiction while also addressing the other issues such as chemical dependency, trauma, grief, co-dependency and co-occurring disorders for women. All of these underlying issues are potentially devastating to a woman's recovery from alcoholism or drug abuse if they not identified and treated.
Treatment at The Rose of Newport Beach is tailored from a woman's perspective, and every woman is cared for as a distinct individual with unique needs and life circumstances. The treatment center is a private and confidential home and even the most discriminating professional will feel comfortable within its nice and luxurious surroundings. Adult women of all ages are treated at the Rose including women in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties and we even have experience helping mature adult women recover from alcoholic drinking and addiction, including prescription drugs like vicodin.
In pursuit of treatment excellence, we offer a multidisciplinary panel of professionals who provide a team approach in creating a truly exceptional therapeutic environment. There are staff members on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help nurture and build a trusting relationship with each client. The relationships that The Rose of Newport Beach forms with its female clients are founded on dignity, privacy, and respect with an understanding and appreciation of the role that substance abuse has played in their lives.

Family Program
At The Rose of Newport Beach, we firmly believe that treatment should embrace not only the addicted or alcoholic woman but the family as well. The Rose of Newport Beach offers a state of the art three day family program facilitated by top recovery professionals who lecture, host workshops, and guide group counseling. The family program portion of the treatment process is specifically designed to assist families in crisis as a result of the woman's alcoholic drinking or substance abuse. While it is the woman who is an alcoholic or drug abuser that goes through our treatment program, family members benefit greatly from being educated about the disease process of chemical dependency and how they have been affected. The families are given the life tools necessary to reconcile current issues facing their family. The entire family also receives counseling from our highly trained family therapists and can receive further advisement beyond treatment. All phases of treatment at the Rose are confidential and private as many of our clients are professional individuals.
